| I am now finished reading Night. I would definitely recommend it to those who are interested in learning about the Holocaust. However, if you find the topic disturbing and can not stomach the gruesomeness of it, this may not be the book for you. What i found most rewarding about reading this book was the fact that I am leaving with new knowledge that i had not had before, not just about the Holocaust, but about life in general. Bravery is an envied quality that i wish i had after learning about Elie’s experiences. He stayed brave and managed to be one of the few survivors in Auschwitz. Overall, Night was an amazing book that i would highly recommend others to consider reading in hopes of enlightening themselves. |

And what’s great about Elie Wiesel is that he’s still around, still talking about his experiences, and still teaching others. He comes around here and speaks every once in a while; it’s definitely worth trying to get a ticket to hear him.
